Acquisition of BISYS Insurance Services is Complete. In May, we told you that J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC (JCF), a private-equity firm, intended to acquire BISYS Insurance Services. Effective, August 1, 2007, that transaction was completed.

The former Commercial Insurance Services division of BISYS will be combined with Crump Insurance Services, Inc., a wholesale property and casualty insurance broker already owned by JCF. Together with the former BISYS Life Insurance and Retirement Services divisions, the new combined organization will become part of Crump Group, Inc.

The impact to you will be transparent. While the name will change over time, the infrastructure of BISYS remains intact, with no change to our strategy or daily operations. Your sales and service teams remain committed to providing you strong customer service to expedite the processing, and placement of your business and payment of your commissions.
