Effective August 17, 2007 ING has decided to discontinue offering their Guaranteed Survivorship Universal Life (ING GSUL) for sale. Click here for key transition information. As you may be aware, GSUL has been in their product suite for quite some time. However, after much analysis and consideration, ING has decided to discontinue the product because of the way it was "misused" in the market. For example, several producers have been selling it as single premium product based on the one time target premium. This produces a 15-year guaranteed death benefit for less than the cost of a 15-year term product and pays permanent commissions. You have a VERY short window of time to take advantage of this oversight. Check to see if you have clients that can benefit from this product and call your Brokerage Director or Senior Sales Consultant for more information.
